After running eight successful Small Business Expos on the Gold Coast, Logan and Brisbane, we are excited to host the Moreton Bay Region/North Brisbane Small Business Expo to bring together local businesses to SELL SELL SELL on Friday 5th October.
This is a genuine Business to Business marketplace platform that squarely kicks skills transfer and financial goals for every business owner and key industry stakeholder involved.
20 industry business groups and sponsors are collaborating to put the expo on.

“The Moreton Bay Region/North Brisbane Small Business Expo will feature 170 exhibition stands with 800 small business owners travelling from Brisbane City to Caboolture to attend.

We will also have an Information Hub and a Technology Hub where you can grab the latest information from Government Agencies and check out the latest technology from our local companies.

Prior to the expo we also deliver ‘How To Sell From an Exhibition Stand Workshops to teach exhibitors how to successfully engage, collect solid leads and convert to sales and make money from the sales leads they receive at the Expo. The workshops have been run before every expo for the past 4 years.

The focus of the Expo is SELL SELL SELL to help business owners put food on the table of families.
The expos will also become Information Hubs where small business owners can get the latest information from funding grants, new legislation etc from three levels of Government – a pop up one day source of information.
Technology is so important in assisting small business owners to do business faster and more efficiently – so we will also have a Technology Hub that will showcase the latest in technologies, software and hardware available.
We will also look to have a home and lifestyle section as well – the majority of businesses are homebased and so it has been recognised as a second market for the Expo.
The goals for the Gold Coast Small Business Expo are:
Collaboration – with key industry stakeholders to work together to build the Expos through shared promotional actions – through this we reach 30,000 small business owners in each region– with a total reach across 5 expos to 150,000 small business owners.
Generate – to ensure each Expo grows to deliver $2 million in solid leads
Skills Transfer – to deliver pre expo workshops in ”How to sell from an exhibition stand” – generally 3 per Expo and an online option will be available too.
Charity – to promote 5 charities per Expo so they can build connections with the small business community and also fundraise
Promotion – to provide a pop up shop one day a year to primarily invisible businesses – homebased, micro, mobile and online and also to identify innovative products and services – new businesses to the media. To also invite all levels of Government to the official opening at each Level so they can engage with the small business community.
Inform – to provide attendees with an information Hub and a Technology Hub so small business owners can get the latest products and services from all levels of Government in a face to face format and undertake activities to ensure they are up to date with compliance, new funding, digital audits, new legislation
Celebration – B2B marketplaces have become annual events for the small business community to celebrate their hard work each year – we include a festive atmosphere with live music and foodtrucks so attendees can come along and network and grab a bite to eat.
Platform – to provide a platform for all small business owners to promote their goods and services from North Brisbane to Tweed businesses with little cost to do so. This is ideal for market research, competitor analysis, sales growth.
